Kinder launch new single 'Meet My Other'

Ghanaian-Australia dance music duo Kinder (sisters Briony and Savannah Osei) today launch their 2024 with the release of new single ‘Meet My Other’.

A thumping, house dance track with an infectious beat, the song incorporates a distorted vocal that brings the soundscape to the fore, reminiscent of the great house and techno music from the 1990s.

"‘Meet My Other’ is about looking forward, knowing that there will be brighter and better days ahead,” Kinder say. “We have all had moments of feeling a little lost or maybe at times a little lonely and this song captures the idea that there is always someone there for you somewhere in the world. This someone could be, but is not limited to just a romantic partner, this connection could also be with a friend, a mentor, a pet, whoever.”

‘Meet My Other’ follows on from last year’s euphoric ‘Lightyears’, created with UK producer BCBC which marked the start of this new chapter in their music. After first releasing music in 2018, Kinder have become one of Australia’s greatest dance music artists. They have DJ-ed at the Vogue x Barbie event, performed at the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and supported major dance artists including Marshmello, RL Grime, and Elderbrook. They have also performed at some of Australia’s biggest festivals including Splendour In The Grass, Dark Mofo, Spilt Milk, Listen Out and Out Of The Woods.

Kinder are truly special artists who can team addictive dance beats with gorgeous melodies and vocals meaning you can inhabit their music on a crowded dancefloor at 2 in the morning just as well as you can at home with the headphones on and the volume cranked up. With more music promised this year, there will be plenty of delicious Kinder beats to enjoy throughout 2024.
