JessB releases new single 'Talk Of The Town' and announces debut album will be released July 5

Aotearoa/New Zealand’s JessB today returns with her new single ‘Talk Of The Town’, alongside the announcement that she will release her debut album Feels Like Home on July 5.

‘Talk Of The Town’ is a chilled, laid back track with a funky R&B-rap soundscape with lyrics that explore not caring what other people think of you, and the freedom that brings.

“I was inspired by the feeling of speculation and gossip around ‘who is dating who’,” JessB says. “The song speaks to the feeling directly, while still reinforcing the idea that I always follow what’s best for me regardless of what other people think. Let them talk!”

The song will be featured on JessB’s debut album Feels Like Home, which will be released on July 5. The album features 12 tracks, including her previous singles ‘Moment’, ‘Ring Ring’, ‘Hold Me Down’ and ‘Come Find Me’, and features production from Brandon Jonak, MOW Music, IAMMXO, Open Till L8 and TUZI.

Collaborating with the likes of Saweetie, Doja Cat, G Flip and Baker Boy across her career, JessB is one of Aotearoa’s most influential musicians in the rap-R&B field, a genre her home country has not traditionally been known for. A magnetic performer, with her debut album on the way and more projects to come 2024 is shaping up to be a monumental year for this burgeoning superstar.
