Tove Lo announces headline tour of Australia and New Zealand

Swedish superstar Tove Lo today announces she will be performing headline shows in Australia and New Zealand this September.

Already scheduled to appear at Listen Out across September and October, Lo will now also be playing headline gigs in Auckland on 21 September, Melbourne on 28 September and Sydney on 29 September. Secret Sounds and Spotify Fans First presale opens on 9am August 19 with tickets available to the general public from 9am August 22.

“I’m so ready to finally come back and play Australia, and do my first headline show in New Zealand,” Lo says. “They both have a special place in my heart and I’m excited to share my new tunes and new moves. Get ready for an emotional dance party!”

After visiting Australia, Lo launches her much anticipated fifth studio album DIRT FEMME on October 14, her first release on her own label Pretty Swede Records. Featuring the massive single ‘No One Dies From Love’ (31 million streams), plus heartbreaking ballad ‘True Romance’, electropop banger ‘2 Die 4’ and ‘How Long’ from the Euphoria soundtrack, it is shaping up to be Lo’s most powerful album to date.

“DIRT FEMME is about me and my relationship with my femininity. When I started out as a writer and an artist I used to view my feminine traits as weaker and would enhance my masculine traits to get ahead in life,” she says. “I feel a big energy shift in my environment since then and this album reflects the various ways my feminine side has both helped and hurt me. I am a pansexual woman married to a straight main. I believe masculine and feminine lives on a spectrum in all humans. There’s so many more interesting nuances than most people wanna accept.”

One of pop’s most gifted, intriguing and straight out brilliant performers, DIRT FEMME and Lo’s tour are undoubtedly one of music’s highlight for the end of 2022.
