Sarah Saint James releases new single 'Big Boy'

Australia’s Sarah Saint James today returns with her new single ‘Big Boy’. An up-front, booming track that cleverly switches up its vibes from hip-hop, rap to gorgeous dream-synth melodies, it is a tongue in cheek rebuttal to the men of the music industry who would DM Sarah and invite her to breakfast but never commit to the project. “This song is hands down the most authentic and sassy song I've ever written and has definitely been the favourite behind the scenes,” Sarah says.

Written in a matter of hours with Cyrus Villanueva and mixed by Robby De Sa, the song was entered into Tones & I’s music competition That One Song and was personally selected by her to be a finalist. It is the follow up to Saint James’s debut single ‘outta this world (fuckboys in space)’ released in July.

Always creating music that is left-of-centre, subverting genre but always remaining completely accessible and relatable, Sarah Saint James is shaping up to be at the absolute forefront of the many independent Australian artists creating incredible music at the moment.
