Peach PRC drops new single 'Secret' ahead of her biggest tour yet
Australian rising superstar Peach PRC today returns with her new single ‘Secret’, ahead of her upcoming headline tour across Australia which will see her performing her best shows yet.
Produced by the Space Primates (Katy Perry, David Guetta) and written by Peach with Space Primates and Grammy-award nominated Bonnie McKee (Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson), ‘Secret’ is classic Peach PRC with bright synths, dance pop beats and delicious melodies.
The song explores the bittersweetness of being in a relationship with someone who doesn’t want anyone else to know about it. “Your mama doesn’t know I’m here / She’s got indoctrinated fears…I know you wanna keep it your secret…but I just want to be here together”. Peach struggles with both wanting to respect her partner’s wishes and the frustration of not being able to openly declare and celebrate their love.
The release of ‘Secret’ comes just before Peach launches her headline The Secret Tour across Australia. Tickets sold out almost instantly - with Brisbane selling out in just 9 minutes - and as a result Peach will now be performing a second show in Melbourne and Sydney, with additional tickets also added to the Brisbane show. Kicking off in Melbourne on 21 March, followed by Brisbane before wrapping up in Sydney on April 6.
First becoming known as a TikTok sensation in 2019, Peach PRC had a major musical breakthrough in 2021 with the iconic breakup song ‘Josh’, which has received over 36 million streams to date and broke into the top 40 on the Australian singles charts. Last year she released her debut EP Manic Dream Pixie which shot to number 1 on the Australian albums chart and solidified her status as one of Australia’s biggest breakout music stars. With a massive global following, acclaim from artists such as Billie Eilish, Finneas and Paris Hilton, plus appearances at major festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Spilt Milk, Falls Festival and Spin Off, plus a slot supporting Blackpink in London, Peach PRC is on track to take over the world with her divine, bubblegum-synthpop, and quite honestly the world of pop music is all the more brighter for having her in it.
