Norway's Lil Halima Releases New Video For 'Jasmine'

Up and coming Norwegian pop star Lil Halima has today released the music video for her new single ‘Jasmine’. A dreamy, R&B tune Lil Halima’s silky smooth vocals belie the heartbreak in the lyrics which explore jealousy and unrequited love - “you do it all for Jasmine”.

The music video was directed by Thomas Flått, Michael Ray Vera Cruz Angeles (Also Known As) and Lil Halima herself and was filmed in her studio and the Norwegian countryside. Lil Halima says of the video: “This whole video had a vibe, from me and my friends late at night at McDonalds after a day of shooting talking about life and death to the end result and the video itself. The vibe, was the song. And i feel like because we all felt it, the video turned out the way it did. All very natural.” Watch the video below.

The video conincides with the release of the cover art of Lil Halima’s debut EP love songs for bad lovers which will be released on October 12. Written, performed and co-produced by Lil Halima herself, it promises to be one of the highlights of the year.
