Christmas comes early with Carla Wehbe's new single 'christmas doesn't feel the same without you'

Carla Wehbe brings us an early Christmas treat today with the release of her new single, ‘christmas doesn’t feel the same without you’.
First written back in 2021 by Wehbe and Janeva Burrill, and produced by Wehbe, Burrill and Robby De Sa, the song is a charming indiepop song with delicious doses of Christmas bells and vibes that never overwhelm or tip the song into schmaltzy territory.
“‘christmas doesn’t feel the same without you’ is really just about missing somebody at Christmas,” Wehbe says. “This time of year is really happy and magical for most people, but for a lot of people it’s actually quite a sad or lonely and isolating time, and this song is about that side of Christmas.”
The single wraps up what has been another incredible year for Wehbe as she solidifies her promise as one of Australia’s future pop superstars. Alongside the Reimagined EP she released two singles, the emotive pop-rock of ‘Sideshow’ and the nostalgic anthem ‘Life’s An Awful Mess’. She has also toured as support act for major stars G Flip, Peach PRC, and Beth McCarthy and this month she will tour with British singer-songwriter JP Cooper.
As she rounds of this year with this gorgeous gift to her fans, Wehbe promises there will be more new music next year, with 2025 set to be yet another massive year for this super talented star on the rise.
