Global pop icon and member of Blackpink Rosé has today announced she will release her debut album Rosie on December 6.

Featuring 12 tracks, the album promises to be Rosé’s most personal and candid music to date, and for the first time, Rosé has co-written and co-produced every song on the album. Pre-orders of the album have opened today in Rosé’s official store , with a standard CD and digital download available as well as a Rosé store exclusive CD which comes in special packaging and includes multiple postcards and a poster.

Rosie marks the relaunch of Rosé’s solo career following her debut releases in 2021 ‘On The Ground’ and ‘Gone’. ‘On The Ground’ became a global hit, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart and at the time it was the highest charting song by a solo K-pop female artist on the Billboard Hot 100, the UK singles chart and the Canadian Hot 100.

Rosé, who was born in New Zealand to Korean parents and raised in Australia, has of course been breaking records since 2016 when Blackpink first released music, quickly becoming the biggest female band in the world. The most streamed female band on Spotify, with over 13 billion streams to their name, they have challenged perceptions of K-pop, proving the genre is overflowing with talent and musical genius on par with Western superstars. With Blackpink bandmate Lisa killing it with her solo career this year as well, Rosé is now set to keep the momentum going in December, bringing 2024 in music to a close with surely one of the year’s most anticipated releases.

Rosie will be released on 6 December via Atlantic Music/Warner Music. You can pre-order and pre-save now.
