AURORA announces What Happened To The Earth? Part 4 Australian tour for February 2025
Published 13 August 2024
Norwegian alt-pop artist AURORA today announces she will be returning to Australia in February next year with her What Happened To The Earth? Part 4 tour.
The tour kicked off in Dublin in June and will wind its way through Europe, South & North America before arriving in Australia. The first show will be in Fremantle on 6 February before hitting Sydney and Melbourne, finishing up in Brisbane on 13 February. Presale tickets go on sale on 15 August, followed by general ticket sales on 16 August.
The show comes off the back of her fourth studio album What Happened To The Heart? which was released in June and garnered critical acclaim and peaked in the top 10 on the UK Albums chart. Described by AURORA as the “most personal and cathartic” she has ever written, the album is a beguiling collection of electronica, synth pop and indie with sidesteps into folk, trance and rock and has seen four singles released, including the left of field dance track ‘Your Blood’ and the 1980s synth injected ‘Some Type of Skin’.
First coming to international prominence in 2015 with her EP Running With The Wolves, AURORA has become one of the most acclaimed and influential artists of the past decade. With her music and artistry focusing on important social issues such as climate change and LGBTQIA+ rights, through to embracing yourself for exactly who you are, she has amassed an incredible 3.3 billion streams, sold over a million albums worldwide, and Billie Eilish has name checked her as the reason she started a music career.
One of music’s extremely special and unique artists, AURORA is just as magical live as she is on record and the What Happened To The Earth? Part 4 is sure to be a powerful experience.
