PREMIERE: Jessica Tori's debut music video 'Skin and Bones'

Sydney based singer-songwriter Jessica Tori today releases her debut single ‘Skin and Bones’ and the music video is premiering exclusively on Women In Pop ahead of its official release on Wednesday 30 September.

Jessica as been touring and collaborating with electronic artists including Rufus Du Sol, Toucan, Makaw, Chores and Xillions for years and was inspired to launch this new solo project after attending a Laura Marling concert, buying a guitar the very next day.

With a sonic landscape of gentle guitars, intimate vocals and folk-esque melodies against a swirling, atmospheric backdrop, it is an assured and remarkable debut single. With a theme of letting go and finding your true self, Jessica says of the song: “This ode to the slow revealing of your truth came to life during a chaotic quarantine and lockdown period. It’s a celebration that we’re all a bit messy and we’re just trying to find our own way, in our own time.”
