Danish duo AyOwA release new single 'First Frost'

Danish duo AyOwA, comprising of vocalist, songwriter and producer Hannah Schneider and writer/producer Nicolai Kornerup, have released their beguiling new single ‘First Frost’, their first ever release in English. It is the first new music from the band since the release of the 2018 EP Farvel, which garnered the band international attention from outlets such as BBC Radio 1, Vice and The Independent.

Inspired by the story of a couple who towards the end of their lives set out in the first winter frost to disappear together, it is a majestic, cinematic track with Schneider’s earthy, expressive and rich vocals effortlessly gliding over a backdrop of crisp, swirling synths. It is truly a thing of beauty.

AyOwA’s debut album Amoeba is due in September this year. ‘First Frost’ is out now and can be downloaded on iTunes or streamed on Apple Music and Spotify.
