Kylie Minogue annouces release of new album 'Golden'
Kylie Minogue will release her new album Golden on 6 April. It has been preceded by the lead single, ‘Dancing’, which is out now. Click here to listen.
Golden, recorded in Nashville USA, is Kylie’s first studio album in four years, and her fourteenth studio album overall.
Minogue says of lead single ‘Dancing’: “You’ve got the lyrical edge, that country feel, mixed with some sampling of the voice and electronic elements, so it does what it says on the label. And I love that it's called 'Dancing', it's immediately accessible and seemingly so obvious, but there’s depth within the song.”
Minogue co-wrote all the songs of Golden co-written by Minogue with British-born songwriters Steve McEwan and Amy Wadge, with the bulk of the album produced by African-German producer Sky Adams. Other contributors to the album include Jesse Frasure, Eg White, Jon Green, Biff Stannard, Samuel Dixon, Danny Shah and Lindsay Rimes, and there's a duet with English singer Jack Savoretti.
