Globally acclaimed Swedish superstar Tove Lo has announced she is teaming up with SG Lewis on the EP Heat, due for release on June 14.

Co-written by Lo with Lewis, and produced by Lewis with additional production from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, the four tracks on the EP are dancefloor ready club anthems.

“We share a lot of fans in the queer community and this EP is very much inspired by the energy we feel from the crowd. We wanted to celebrate that with these 4 bangers,” Lo says. “Sam and I met on the dance floor and I think when we first worked together we felt that special creative connection that rarely happens. So after making a few songs together that ended up on both our albums we felt like we had more to give to our mutual fans who, like us, love to dance in sweaty warehouses.”

The EP comes off the back of Lo and Lewis’s recent dance pop collaboration with Nelly Furtado ‘Love Bites’. The duo first collaborated on the tracks ‘Call On Me’ and ‘Pineapple Slice’ from Lo’s 2022 hugely successful Dirt Femme album.

Ever since her breakthrough in 2014 with the global smash ‘Habits (Stay High)’, Lo has become one of pop music’s most versatile, experimental and empowering artists. With a genius for creating perfectly crafted pure pop songs, with a hint of the gritty and dirty, Lo is a very special and cherished artist and Heat is destined to be another delicious collection of music in her already incredible portfolio.

Heat will be released in June 14 via Pretty Swede Records. You can pre-order and pre-save now.
