In 2000, Belinda Chapple became one of the biggest stars in Australian music when she was selected to join the band Bardot as part of Australia's first reality TV show Popstars. 23 years on, she has written her autobiography The Girl In The Band which details the behind the scenes exploitation and crushed dreams she experienced during her two years in Bardot. She recently dropped by the Women In Pop podcast to chat to Jett Tattersall all about her experiences, and starting her music career again as part of the duo Ka’Bel, with former Bardot bandmate Katie Underwood.
