Madison Beer returns with new single 'Home To Another One' and announces second album 'Silence Between Songs' will be released in September

American superstar Madison Beer today returns with her first new music of 2023 with the single ‘Home To Another One’. She has also announced her second album Silence Between Songs will be released on September 15.

Written and produced by Beer with Leroy Clampitt, ‘Home To Another One’ sees her dive into electronic dance pop. Full of addictive beats and gorgeous melodies plus a smattering of electric guitar, it is tinged with melancholy as Beer sings about a dysfunctional relationship where her lover is cheating on her but still they remain together. “I know you go home to another one…another year, we’re still here,” she sings.

It is the latest taste from Beer’s second studio album Silence Between Songs, out September 15. “I’ve learned so much about myself and my artistry on the journey of the last two years since my last record,” Beer says. “This album tells the story of so many different pieces of me that I discovered in the moments of pause where I settled down from the noise and learned the most about myself. I hope my fans are as inspired listening to it as I was when creating it.”

Beer first came to global attention in 2012 when her YouTube cover of Etta James’ ‘At Last’ was shared online by Justin Bieber. Her first single ‘Melodies’ was released in 2013, with her debut EP As She Pleases dropping in 2018. Her debut album Life Support was released in 2021 and was a global hit, peaking in the top 40 in Australia, the UK and multiple countries across Europe as well as climbing to 65 on the US Billboard Album Chart. Earlier this year, Beer moved into publishing with the release of her memoir The Half of It.

Beer makes music that is always authentic and full of integrity. For an artist so young there is such maturity and polish to both her lyrics and her soundscapes that make every song special, and her incredible voice is always a joy to listen to. ‘Home To Another One’ adds a new sonic dimension to Silence Between Songs and based on what we’ve heard so far, the album is promising to be an absolute highlight of Beer’s career to date.
