Nicole Millar releases video for latest single 'Favours'
Launching the new decade in style, Australia’s Nicole Millar today releases the video for her latest single ‘Favours’. Directed by Rahnee Lally, the video was shot on Sydney’s Northern Beaches late last year and is bright, sassy and comes with a retro VHS filter. Scroll to watch below.
‘Favours’ is the first release from Millar since her critically acclaim debut album ‘Excuse Me’ in 2018. A grittier, more urban take on pop it is the first in a series of singles Millar plans to release this year. Revelling in a new sense of self-empowerment across her music, which is reflected in the lyrics to ‘Favours’, Millar told Women In Pop last month “I think I needed to just be confident in what I want and how to speak up for myself. I feel now with my music I’m going to be able to express myself more.”
Millar will be performing live in Canberra with Japanese Wallpaper this Australia Day, Sunday 26th January, to help support those impacted by the recent bushfires. Please see here for more information.
