kenzie releases new single featuring Sia 'Exhale'

US singer and actor kenzie today releases her first new music of 2020 with the single ‘Exhale’, which features Australia’s own Sia.

At only 16 years old, kenzie has been releasing music for four years and has spent most of her youth in the music industry. Unlike many singers who start their careers so young, kenzie’s music has always had a remarkably mature and refined sound, with her songs being a mix of electropop and authentic dance beats which shows kenzie’s rare talent for identifying and defining her own unique sound, almost unheard of in someone so young.

Exhale’ is an addictive industrial, electropop song with a hefty slab of 1980s new jack swing running through its veins. It is accompanied by a music video created in isolation and shot on phones by kenzie’s sister Maddie Ziegler (star of Dance Moms and many videos by Sia), with cameo appearances from a number of other young stars including Johnny Orlando, Dove Cameron, Dylan Conrique, Abbi Dicenso, Cameron Field, Charlize Glass, Tati McQuay, Gio Pilla, Sage Rosen, Emily Skinner, Lucas Stadvac, and Hayden Summerall. Watch below now.

kenzie may still be only in her teens, but she is one of the biggest and most influential singers of her generation, with over 30 million followers on social media, 200 million YouTube views and close to 1 million streams per month on Spotify alone. Dripping with talent and the ability to launch brilliant track after brilliant track, kenzie has proven she has what it takes to become the next music global superstar.

‘Exhale’ by kenzie is out now via Sony Music. You can listen here.
