Dami Im To Release New Live EP
Australian singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist, Dami Im has announced she will be released a new live EP, Live Sessions on January 11 2019. The EP is available for pre-order today.
The EP wil showcase Im’s live performances of some of her biggest hits, including the 2016 Eurovision runner-up ‘Sound Of Silence’, Australian Top 10 single ‘Super Love’ along with tracks from Im’s 2018 album I Hear A Song. “I love performing my songs live,” Im says. “It’s the only time I can connect with each person on such an intimate level as I share the deepest parts of me.”
Live Sessions will also include a new track called ‘Dreamer’, available now as an instant-grat track for those who pre-order the EP. Of the new song, Im says “‘Dreamer’ is a really personal song for me. At the time I felt like there were so many opinions and voices around me and slowly I was getting lost. I wrote the first verse and chorus in fifteen minutes and it felt great to get it off my chest. It’s was the most empowering feeling”
Alongside the annoucement of the relase of Live Sessions, Im has also revealed she will be touring across Australia in 2019 on the Dami Im Dreamer Tour. “I’ve always felt most confident when I’m on stage performing and it’s been a dream of mine to live this life as a performer,” she says. “It’s going to be a very special tour where I get to show my musical evolution as I sing my previous repertoire as well as the new music that I’ve been working on this year.” 2019 is shaping up to be a busy year for Im as she will also be mking a special guest spot on the extensive Human Nature A Little More Love: a 30 Year Celebration Tour which kicks off in April 2019.
