Baltimore native Ashley Kutcher has released her new single ‘The Night You Left’. The song is a beautiful, heartbreaking track which transitions from acoustic guitar to gentle, electro beats and soaring multi layered vocals.

Inspired by Kutcher’s own experience, the song relays the story of a breakup and the realisation the person you love is never going to be part of your life again: ’Hyperventilating in the bathroom / Like how the hell am I supposed to live without you? / I don’t remember the day that we met / But I’m still reliving the night that you left / When I shattered to pieces’ she sings.

“This song embodies all the emotions I felt when I knew it was over. I don’t remember the day that you walked into my life, but I’ll always clearly remember the night you walked out of it,” Kutcher says of the song.

Kutcher has also announced the release of her debut EP One Eighty to be released on November 19. Featuring ‘The Night You Left’ as well as her previous singles ‘Fake Bitches’ and ‘Favourite What If’, the EP was born when she wrote ’The Night You Left’ and follows the collapse of her relationship and her subsequent recovery. “While you moved on, I wrote. I wrote about how you were my favorite “what-if?” I questioned it all,” Kutcher says.

Kutcher initially trained as a nurse before switching to music, releasing her first single ‘Lust’ in 2020. Later that year her career exploded when the single ‘Love You From A Distance’ exploded on TikTok, to date racking up close to 30 million global streams on Spotify alone.
