2018 ARIA Awards Nominee's announced!
The 2018 ARIA Awards nominations were announced today in Sydney. In an encouraging shift towards gender equality, the number of female nominees was the highest in many years, with close to 45% of nominations being either solo female artists or bands featuring at least one female member.
The two acts with the most nominations were both female - Amy Shark with nine nominations and Courtney Barnett with eight. See below for a full list of nominations.
The ARIA Awards ceremony will be held on November 28th - stay tuned to Women In Pop for all the wonderful female artists who wil be appearing on the night!
