Whitney Houston Documentary To Screen At Sydney Film Festival
A documentary chronicling the life and career of Whitney Houston is to screen at the 64th Sydney Film Festival
Whitney Can I Be Me, directed by Nick Broomfield & Rudi Dolezal, offers a raw and uncensored look at Houston, exploring the impact her life and death had on the people around her and the world of music. Broomfield interviews many who were close to Houston, including her siblings, musicians, make-up artists and publicists, and paints of picture of a troubled superstar whose hid her personal problems behind the facade of an adored superstar.
The movie will screen on Wednesday 7 June 6:30pm at Event CInemas in George Street and Friday 9 June 6:30pm at the Dendy Newtown
